STAMPIN' UP! WORD PLAY!

I love the colors on this card! We used Old Olive, Concord Crush and Melon Mambo. Then we added a little Rhinestone Jewel for some bling. The sentiment comes from the Word Play stamp set, available in the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog. The hearts were punched with the Stampin' Up! Heart to Heart Extra Large Punch and the Stampin' Up! Eyelet Border Punch was used on the Old Olive cardstock to "punch it up". This was another we made at Ronda's Stampin' Up! demonstrator event.

WORD PLAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

This is another quick and simple card that we made a Ronda's SU! Demonstrator event this month. For this card we used the Word Play stamp set. This was one of the very first stamp sets that I ordered from the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog. It has a perfect saying for any event. You can order yours 24/7 HERE. Or contact me today to place your order.

This is a perfect quick and easy holiday card, and it's never to soon to think about getting those all made and ready before the hectic holiday season begins!

COLOR CHART FOR COLOR CRUSH PARTY!

Here are a couple pictures of the Color Chart we'll be making at my Color Crush Party tomorrow evening.

I talked with a few customers to see how they would utilize a color chart and then came up with this form.

My color chart is organized by colors and by the group names that Stampin' Up! has used. I put the colors in color groups and then listed the name of the Stampin' Up! group they are in under the color. Each square then has the Classic Ink order number, Ink Refill order number and Marker order number. There is a spot in each square for a stamped image and a punched image. I have used a different stamp from the Itty Bitty Bits stamp set to indicate each Stampin' Up! group (i.e. Regals is a heart, Subtles is a flower). I have pre-stamped all the images (with the help of my dear friend, Lisa) and on Friday the ladies enjoying my class will punch images that coordinate with the cardstock colors and Stampin' Up! groups to add to their color charts.

This color chart is on an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock, so it will fit nicely inside their 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog.

PERFECT PUNCHES AND VINTAGE WALLPAPER BIG SHOT EMBOSSING FOLDER!

This was a really easy card Ronda shared with us. We used the Vintage Wallpaper Big Shot Embossing Folder and some Very Vanilla Card Stock, Early Espresso Card Stock and Daffodil Delight Card Stock. The image/sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso Classic Ink and comes from the Perfect Punches Stamp Set. We punched it out with the Wide Oval Punch and added a little pearl jewel to it. Then we layered that onto a piece of Early Espresso Card Stock that was punched with the Extra Large Round Tab Punch. AND, yes, of course, we put the punches onto a piece of Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon!

Be sure to check out the new Stampin' Up! 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog for more ideas on what you can make with the Perfect Punches Stamp Set. If you love your Stampin' Up! punches, this set is a definite "MUST HAVE" item.

STAMPIN' UP! ELEGANT BOUQUET BIG SHOT EMBOSSING FOLDER!

This card from Ronda's event uses the Elegant Bouquet Big Shot Embossing Folder and the Perfect Punches stamp set. We added little pearl jewels to the centers of the flowers in the bouquet. The sentiment is punched with the Scallop Oval Punch and we mounted it onto a Wide Oval Punch to give it a little more "dimension". To this card we added some 1/8" Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon. We were definitely using up the ribbon and jewels that day; and I was lovin' every minute!

STAMPIN' UP! PERFECT PUNCHES IN BLUSHING BRIDE!

Here's another card from Ronda's event. For this one we used the new In Color, Blushing Bride. We cut the label in our piece of Blushing Bride Card Stock with the Movers and Shapers Curly Label Big Shot Die. The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! stamp set called Perfect Punches and that stamp set can be found in the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog. The little flower is from Wild Wasabi Card Stock, and we added a little Pearl Jewel to the middle of the flower and, of course, some Early Esresso Taffeta Ribbon.

The Jewels we used at Ronda's event can be found on page 188 of the Idea Book and Catalog. They can be ordered in Basic Rhinestones and Basic Pearls. We used a lot of these at Ronda's event, and I fell in love~~yes, I confessed to my husband he had some competition! They are only $4.95 for a sheet of 150, AND they come in 3 sizes, 5mm, 3mm, and 2mm, so you will get 50 of each size AND (I know, what could make it better; right?) they are adhesive on the back. You don't have to try and get glue on it or add a glue dot~~it's ready to go. Just pick up the jewel and place it on your artwork! It's an awesome accessory you NEED to try!

STAMPIN' UP! PERFECT PUNCHES FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

I recently attended an event in Michigan held by fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Ronda Wade. I love attending her events because I feel like a princess. I take my adhesive and show up! She has all the card stock cut, the cards designed and lunch available. I love it! PLUS I always go with a few more demonstrator friends, so it's just a lovely, relaxing social event for me.

Since I am up north on vacation and not stamping, I think this is the perfect time to share some of the cards I made at Ronda's event.

This card was made with the Perfect Punches stamp set. We markered the image with Pear Pizzazz and Cherry Cobbler markers and then punched it out with the Stampin' Up! Scallop Circle Punch. Then we used the new 2 3/8" scallop circle punch to punch out a Cherry Cobbler mat for our stamped image. The Whisper white card stock was embossed with the Petals A Plenty Big Shot Embossing Folder. Then it was mounted on some Early Espresso card stock and then onto Pear Pizzazz card stock and then onto more Cherry Cobbler card stock. Lots of card stock, but a great card! Of course, we added a little Early Espresso Taffeta ribbon~~because every card needs a little ribbon!

STAMPIN' UP! SOMETHING SWEET!

I think these are the most adorable little baby cards. Fellow demonstrator and dear friend, Nancy Gelle, made these to share with me. She put little beads inside the Circle Treat Cups to make it sound like a rattle when it shakes! She used the Something Sweet stamp set to make the handle for her rattle. This is just such a cute little card for a new baby!

Thanks so much Nancy for the inspiration!

This week's video shows you how to add color to your Stampin' Up! Presto Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper with an Ink Refill. I also share with you how to make a card with the Stampin' Up! Presto Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper once you have colored it with your Ink Refill.

I hope you enjoy this video and will come back next week to learn more about the great products Stampin' Up! offers as well as how to use them to create wonderful cards and/or projects.

I AM ON VACATION!

Does it seem like I'm always on vacation? My husband sure thinks so. I made a pact with my sister that since I did not get up north one single time last summer, that I would be up there at least once a month this summer, so I am off again! I will be back before club on Tuesday, though.

And, don't worry, I have posts scheduled, as well as my new Wednesday Video!

STAMPIN' UP! WATERCOLORED PEACE WITHIN!

Here is another card my friend, Lisa, made and shared with me. Lisa is a big, huge lover of watercolor, and every time I see one of her breathtaking cards, I know why she loves it so much~~because she rocks at it!! Oh, yeah, another she rocks at, is bow making. Seriously, check out the perfect bow on this card! I will admit that on more than one occasion, Lisa has tied some of those awesome bows on projects for me!

Thanks, girlfriend for the inspiration!

STAMPIN' UP! ELEGANT BOUQUET BIG SHOT EMBOSSING FOLDER!

Here are two beautiful cards my dear friend, Lisa, made and brought to share with me. Lisa used the Stampin' Up! Elegant Bouquet Big Shot Embossing Folder for each card, and then she used different techniques to add color to her bouquet. Both cards are the same, and yet when she finished adding color, they looked very different from one another~~one card with two looks!!

Great job, Lisa!! Thanks so much for the inspiration!

STAMPIN' UP! BIG SHOT BASKETS AND BLOOMS DIE!

This is a little bag Michelle shared with us at our last get together. She used the Big Shot Baskets and Blooms Die and made a little box that looks just like a mini beach bag. I love all the bright colors! She used the Square Lattice Big Shot Embossing Folder and the Tropical Party Stamp Set. Both of those items are available in the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog.

Thanks for the neat idea, Michelle!

STAMPIN' UP! BIGS XL MINI MILK CARTON BIG SHOT DIE!

My dear friend, Lisa, helped me put all these mini milk cartons together to use for door prizes for my Stampin' Up! 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog Open House. we put little slips of paper in each one that had the name of the door prize you won. Then all the attendees got to keep their mini milk carton and their door prize.

The design ideas for the milk cartons came from the Stampin' Up! demonstrator group where Stampin' Up! Demonstrators share their artistic creations and help inspire one another. The idea to put the mini milk cartons into the little shopping cart came right out of the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog!

STAMPIN' UP! VINTAGE WALLPAPER EMBOSSING FOLDER!

WOW! My day got away from me today, and I almost forgot to share a post with you.

This is another one of the cards we'll be making at my Tuesday Card Club this month. For this card I used the new Stampin' Up! Big Shot Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder to get a wonderful background. The sentiment is from a new stamp set called Occasional Quotes. This stamp set is available as a Level Three Hostess set in the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog. If you hold a qualifying workshop, this stamp set can be yours for FREE.

Contact me to schedule a workshop, and I will show you how simple it is to get this awesome stamp set into your hot little hands!

WATERCOLOR TRIO AND PASTELS!

This is another card we will be making at this month's Tuesday Club. This is my club where we make cards that all use the same pattern. This month we will be making four cards because it's a very easy pattern that won't take lots of time to put together. Everyone is welcome at club! Use my "class schedule" tab on the top of my blog for club details. You must RSVP one week prior to club, though; so don't forget!

For this card I used a little of the retired Bride Specialty Paper. This happened because I thought I had picked out a pack of Presto Patterns Paper, but after I had finished prepping for my club, I realized it was, in fact, the Bride paper and not Presto Patterns.

To add color to my paper, I smushed my VersaMark Pad onto the Bride paper covering the entire piece. Then I just dabbed a cotton ball into my pastels and dabbed the pastel-covered cotton ball onto my VersaMark covered paper. My sentiment is from the Watercolor Trio stamp set, which is available in the current Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog. I also used my large oval punch, scallop oval punch and a little Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon (all of those items can be found in the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog).

PERFECT PUNCHES!

This is my "CASE" of the card Nancy shared with us at our demonstrator get together last month. I changed the sentiment for my card to a stamp from the Perfect Punches stamp set, which is available in the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog. Then I changed the colors. Because we will be making this card at the Color Crush Party on July 30th, I wanted to use some new colors. For this card I used Cajun Craze and Peach Parfait.

I still have a few spots left for the Color Crush Party. If you're interested in joining us, please check out the class details under my "class schedule" tab at the top of my blog.

POCKET SILHOUETTES!

This is a"CASE" of the card that Linda shared with us at last month's demonstrator get together. This is a card we will be making at the Color Crush party on July 30th, so I switched up the colors a bit and used a different stamp set. For this card I used the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set and Matchbox Messages. Both stamp sets are available in the Stampin' Up! 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog. For the colors I used Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight and Cajun Craze.

Hugs from the Rubber Room
