TECHNIQUE TUESDAY CHEAT SHEET!

When you attend the Technique Tuesday class (it's available in the morning and evening), you will make the cards pictured in the post below, AND you will receive an instruction card for the technique with a "sample" of the technique attached to the back of the card. These instruction cards will be put on a key ring loop so you can keep them all together. Here is a picture of the instruction card, front and back. Details for the Technique Tuesday class can be found on my calendar.

In April I will be having the first of three Technique Tuesday classes where we will be learning embossing techniques. Here are the four cards we will be making this month. The techniques include: Basic Embossing with Craft Ink, Shattered Glass, Embossed Pastels, and Embossed Watercolor Crayons. You can visit my calendar for all the class details!

COLORED RIBBON SLIDE!

This is one of the cards we did in my class in March. I used the Spring Fling Designer Series Paper and the Five Petal Punch, along with the ribbon slide in the Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware kit available in the Occasions Mini Collection 2008. The words came from the Full of Life stamp set in the Occasions Mini Collection 2008. I colored the ribbon silde by mixing crystal effects and a few drops of re-inker together and then spooning the mixture into the flower on the ribbon slide. This is a nice technique to use with the Hodgepode Hardware, and the Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware kit contains many pieces you can use this technique with.

PUN FUN SLIDER CARD!

My downline, Michelle Langefeld, made this rocket slider card with the Pun Fun stamp set and Spring Break Designer Series Paper. I love the colors, and spinner cards are so much fun to get!

ONE OF A KIND!

I am making an effort to use my accessories, instead of hording them! So, I decided classes and hostesses club would love to try some of them out. This card we did in a hostess club in March with the Hodge Podge Hardware Kit, some Pomegranate Double-Stitched Ribbon. We used the One of a Kind stamp set for the flowers and words on this one!
