I started my class on Thursday with a Fourth of July decorative tile. While the participants all agreed they liked my tile, almost all of them "created" their own tile; and they are definitely talented! These are some of the tiles they came up with.

My hostess card club wanted to do holiday cards this month; so here they are! Designing them really put me in the holiday spirit. Not so much so that I wanted to head out and start my shopping, but now I'm excited to be planning my holiday cards! With any luck and some "expert planning" perhaps I'll have them done by the first of December. At any rate, we'll be making these four cards and using some different folds; glitter; punches and I'm even pulling out the Stamp-A-Majig! Hostess club meets on Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. I still have a few spots open, so email me by Monday a.m. to join the fun. You can email me at

I have customers that love these decorative tiles, and they change them for different holidays and/or seasons. These are pictures of the "offerings" for the class on June 26, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. You can pick two of the three designs (or make two of the same design) for $10. If you'd like to join the fun, please RSVP with an email to me at

I will be leaving town shortly and won't be back until Monday. I didn't want you all to feel neglected, so I've posted some sneak peeks at what will be happening in the Rubber Room next week. Enjoy your weekend, and stamp something!

Isn't this the most beautiful ribbon holder~~I love it!! It's almost too nice for me to use in the Rubber Room. My dear friend and fellow demonstrator, Michelle, was showing hers off to me, and I had to have one. Lucky for me, her husband made hers, and is now taking orders. That's right, you can have one too. If you NEED one, please email Michelle at

These are the cards we will be making at the last embossing technique classes in the morning and evening of Tuesday, June 17th. I will show participants how to emboss with heat and stick powder and glitter; embossing with Versamark and a classic ink pad (we're going to bleach that one too :o); faux metal tag and stained class. We have definitely packed a lot into these three embossing technique classes!

This is the stationery box and the four cards we will be making on Friday, June 20, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. I designed the box to hold all four 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 cards with envelopes and then added a magnetic closure. I used Simply Said stamp set with Regal Rose and Rose Red ink and cardstocks. If you want to join the class, you can email me at

I am so excited this morning! My dear friend and fellow SU! Demonstrator, Veronica (Ronnie) McCollum is now offering blog, banner and watermark services. She is so talented and computer savvy. She has been instrumental in getting my blog up and running for me, and helping me with all my computer questions. I'm certain I would not be here blogging without her. She is extremely patient, especially for those of us who aren't computer savvy! Her suggestions are wonderfully helpful when trying to decide how to arrange things, color combinations, adding links, etc... If you have been considering starting a blog, need help with creating a wonderful personalized banner for your existing blog, or just want the scoop on blogging, banners or watermarks, please visit her here to see samples of banners she's done in the past and learn about the services she's now offering.

With Ronnie's help, getting started with a blog and blogging has been a wonderful experience (not a frustrating one) for me, and she will make it just as simple for you. Ronnie designed the blog, banner and watermark I use, and I love my little blogging spot on this big, big web! Go Now! Check out her new services! Take advantage of some special deals she's offering! Love your blogging spot just as much as I do mine.

I started seeing samples where the oval punch was used for a vase, and I had to try it! This is one of the cards we'll be making at my Friday Night Hostess Club this month. I hope they like it. I used the flower stamp from Simply Said. For the vase, I used the large oval punch and snipped both ends off, then I sponged the left-hand side to give it a sort of "shadowy" effect.

This is a card that was shared by Ronnie (Veronica)at our last demonstrator play group get together. She is a very talented stamper and demonstrator, and I love it when we get together and share our ideas and talents. I think this is an awesome color combination, and one that I have never used myself. However, I will be trying it soon. I think it's so summery and bright!

Hugs from the Rubber Room
