SOMETHING LACY FROM STAMPIN' UP!

This absolutely gorgeous  background stamp, Something Lacy, can be found in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog, and it makes the most beautiful cards!  For this card I used a sentiment from Love and Sympathy,  the Stampin' Up! Extra-Large Oval Punch and 2" Circle Punch, then added some Taffeta Ribbon to accessorize.  It is super quick and easy and so versatile!

PANSY PUNCH!

This is Keri's Demo Diva swap, and I love it's simplicity!  Keri pairs the Pansy Punch with the Petite Petals Punch to make a quick and easy card.  With the addition of some ribbon and DSP this is a perfect example of a card that is quick and easy and awesome!

LAVERNE'S NURSE!

Laverne visited the Rubber Room Unscripted in May, and she made this cute little nurse from the Owl Punch, and many other punches.  I think this is just the cutest!

This card is perfect for someone in the hospital or a nurse...  how about someone graduating from nursing school?

SCALLOP TAG TOPPER PUNCH TIME!

It is time to RSVP!  The Rubber Room Wacky Wednesday event on Wednesday, May 21st, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. will feature the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.  We will be making 1 card (incorporating the technique pictured above) a goodie bag and a treat box.  Order the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, and you will only pay $5 to attend Wacky Wednesday. Don't want to order the punch?  That's okay too.  The cost of Wacky Wednesday without the punch is $15.  I can assure you, however, that once you use this punch and see all the amazing things you can do with it, you will have to order it!  You must RSVP before midnight May 14th.

COUNTER TOP TEA BAG HOLDER

I think this little tea bag holder that can sit right on your counter is a perfect gift for a tea-drinking friend.  They can use the tea bag and slip another one into the now-empty envelope.  It's one of those gifts you give someone, and you know every time they open it and grab a tea bag, they are thinking of you!

This is the view of the box open.  There are four envelopes inside, so it will hold four tea bags. Each envelope is made with the Envelope Punch Board.

It was really simple to decorate just using my SU! Butterfly Punch and attaching it to the front of the box with a dimensional at the bottom.  The dimensional placement allowed me to slip the cover of the box right under the top of the butterfly and close it.

The design for this box came from Sam Donald.  I had to switch her dimensions up, as my tea bags were a slightly different size.  For my box the piece of the card stock for the box is 10" x 3 1/4"; scored at 3", 4 1/4", 7 1/4" and 8 1/2".  The inner piece (which you adhere the envelopes to) is 4" x 3", scored every 1/2"
The envelopes are made with the Envelope Punch Board and are 5 x 5" .  Score & punch your 5 x 5 piece at 2 3/8"; turn your DSP 90 degrees, line up the scored line you just made with the score guide, punch & score; repeat this process on all four sides.

ANOTHER VIVID VASES DEMO SWAP!

This is another one of the swaps Caroline shared with us.  I like the really bright colors and the scallop trim border at the top.  Once again, the use of Stampin' Up! punches (Scallop Border Punch, 1" Square Punch and Postage Stamp Punch) has punched up the appeal of this card and made it very easy to put together.

I am amazed at the versatility of this punch!  Check out this card made with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.

This is the card "That Michelle" shared with us at our Demo Diva Night this month.  I had no idea you would be able to use the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to make this unique card closure.  Of course, the Watercolor Designer Series Paper adds so much softness and beauty to this creation. The sentiment comes from the Label Love Stamp Set and it is punched out with the coordinating Artisan Label Punch, which is on sale this week.   All these wonderful tools make this a very quick and easy card to make, and I will definitely be sharing it in my upcoming classes.  Thanks for sharing with us, Michelle.

PETITE PETALS AND MODERN MEDLEY MEET UP!

I love a "meet up" especially on Valentine's Day!  This isn't a Valentine's "meet up", but check it out!

Last night was our Demo Diva night, and we also exchanged our Occasions Catalog swap cards.  All of the swaps are awesome, and I am so excited about sharing them with you!  This one is made with the Petite Petals Stamp Set and Punch, which you can "bundle" (purchase together) and save 15% on. PETAL PARADE AND PERFECT PENNANTS!

Tonight was Demo Diva Night.  One of my favorite nights each month.  So much sharing and creativity and such good friends....  Here is the card Keri shared with us.

Keri used the Sale-A-Bration Petal Parade stamp set, along with the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set (available in the Occasions Catalog), some Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper, also FREE in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.  The Chevron strip is from the Positively Chevron Background Stamp, the flowers were made using the Blossom Punch (available in the Stampin' Up! 2013-2014 Annual Catalog) and the Petite Petals Punch (available in the Occasions Catalog).  Then we simply accessorized with the Pearl Jewels and the Tea Lace Paper Doilies.  I love the color combination and how soft this card looks.  Thanks so much for sharing with us, Keri!

GOTTA LOVE "THAT MICHELLE"

I have been seriously missing my play time with "That Michelle", and finally, today, we were able to get together again.  AND she is still just as talented and "over the top" as always.  Truly love what she does!!

This is such a beautiful little heart candy holder.  The roses were "just scallop circles".  I don't about anyone else, but when I punch a scallop circle, it does not come close to resembling these beautiful flowers.  Thank you so very much, Michelle, I love it!!

Here is a sneak peek of what's coming up for our Morning Madness Group this month!

Morning Madness is next Tuesday, January 14th from 10:00 a.m. to noon, and it is time to RSVP.  Today is the last day to let me know you are coming, so I can start prepping for this awesome class.  You will be making four different cards, and this is one of them.  For this card I used the Monster Mania stamp set and the all new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I hope you can join us in the Rubber Room for Morning Madness!

SIX-SIDED SAMPLER PRODUCT CLASS!

The first-ever Rubber Room Product Party is happening November 26th, 2013 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Rubber Room.  The Product Party is only $5, and this month we will be making all four of these cards!

For this card we use the Hexagon Punch to create the "tag look".  The Love and Sympathy Stamp Set is where the image and sentiment are from.  We also used the Very Vintage Designer Buttons, and the Modern Label Punch to set the button on.  From the Holiday  Mini Catalog, we used the Pretty Print Textured Embossing Folder for the Big Shot and some of the 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon for the button bow.

This card uses the Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set and the Hexagon Punch, as well as the 1/8" Silver Ribbon (available in the Holiday Mini Catalog) and the Delicate Designs Textured Embossing Folder for the Big Shot.  The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set.

For this lovely card we again used the Hexagon Punch and the Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set, along with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Embossing Folder for the Big Shot and the Bitty Butterfly Punch.  You can't see it too well in the photo, but there are Rhinestone Jewels for the butterfly bodies.  The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set.

For this card we used the Hexagon Punch to make the little "purse".  The "clasp" on the purse is a Rhinestone Jewel colored with a red Sharpie marker.  The sentiment is from the Yippe-Skippee! Stamp Set.
