SCALLOP TAG TOPPER PUNCH TIME!

It is time to RSVP!  The Rubber Room Wacky Wednesday event on Wednesday, May 21st, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. will feature the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.  We will be making 1 card (incorporating the technique pictured above) a goodie bag and a treat box.  Order the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, and you will only pay $5 to attend Wacky Wednesday. Don't want to order the punch?  That's okay too.  The cost of Wacky Wednesday without the punch is $15.  I can assure you, however, that once you use this punch and see all the amazing things you can do with it, you will have to order it!  You must RSVP before midnight May 14th.

EGGSTRA SPECTACULAR EASTER TREAT BOX!

You guessed it, another goody Keri and I made at our Creative Escape Weekend!

This is a 2,4,6,8 box.  That means you cut your cardstock to 5 1/2" x 81/2".  Then you score the long side a 2", 4", 6" and 8".  Score your short side at 2" and then you just cut up all four of your score lines on the long side to the one score line on the short side.  In other words hold your card stock with the 8 1/2" side horizontal and the 2" score line at the bottom closest to you.  Cut your 2" vertical score line up to the 2" horizontal score line; then cut your 4" vertical score line up to the 2" horizontal score line; then cut your 6" vertical score line up to the 2" horizontal score line and cut your 8" vertical score line up to the 2" horizontal score line.  Fold the parts you have just cut on top of one another to form the bottom of the box.  And you can decorate however you like.  This would make  a great box for a birthday treat or (for those friends always watching their weight) you could use some of the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper for the box and then stuff it with a little shredded paper and stand a balloon on a stick inside.  A box for a sick friend with tissue and lozenges....  the creative possibilities are endless and it is super easy to make!

HAPPY WATERCOLOR!

This is one of my favorite stamp sets available in the Occasions Catalog from Stampin' Up!

The soft feel to this card makes it perfect for me to use as a sympathy card or a get well card or even a card to just brighten someone's day.  I like the Pool Party and Basic Gray color combination a lot.  This card inspired one I saw made by Beth McAlexander.

OCCASIONS STAMP-A-STACK TIME!

There will be an Occasions Stamp-A-Stack in the Rubber Room on April 14, 2014, and this is one of the cards we will be making.

Once again, I am using the Rich Razzleberry card stock.  I think I am rediscovering it or something, because lately I really like that color.  I paired it with Smokey Slate here, and I think it is a hit!  The flower comes from Simple Stems and the verbage is from Express Yourself.  This card was inspired by France Martin.  I swapped out the stamp set and words, but I really liked her design.  Want to join the SAS fun?  You can get all the details HERE.  Ready to sign up?  RSVP HERE!

MONOCHROMATIC PETAL PUNCH!

I had written down several monochromatic color combinations I wanted to try, and this was one of them.

This card uses Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder.  It is the perfect card for anyone who loves the color purple in all of its splendor.  I also used the Petite Petals Punch and coordinating Stamp Set, along with some little pearl jewels.  This is the perfect card for any occasion, or no occasion at all.  The inspiration for this card came from Lyssa Griffin Zwolonek, and it was the perfect card idea for me to use those monochromatic combos I had been saving.

SIMPLE STEMS

This is a card I CASED from J K Cards.  I love the Hardwood Background stamp because it is so real looking.  I also used the Simple Stems stamp set and the Fab Phrases stamp set to make this card. 

SIMPLE STEMS

This card was inspired by Lorri Hellig, and I love the layout.  The unique opening is made using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch available in the Occasions Catalog , and the Designer Series Paper is the Sweet Sorbet DSP available for FREE in the SAB catalog.  The stamp set is Simple Stems, also available in the Occasions Catalog.  My Rubber Room gals will get to try their hands at making this card in April.

PETITE PETALS

I love the Sahara Sand and Rich Razzleberry with Old Olive color combination on this card.  I used the Petite Petals, Gorgeous Grunge, and A Dozen Thoughts stamp sets.  Dawn Olchefske, inspired this awesome creation.  

THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

This is one of the cards we will be making in the Rubber Room in April.  

This card was inspired by one of my favorite demonstrators, Becky Roberts.  I love the simplicity of this sympathy card, and the fact you can easily send it to a male!  The stamp set is Thoughts and Prayers,  and the Woodgrain background is available in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

KARIN'S BIRTHDAY CARD!

This is a card one of my Wacky Wednesday gals shared with me tonight.  I loved it so much, she asked if I wanted to keep it.  Of course, I jumped on that!  This card is so sparkly and the Watercolor DSP is a perfect background for it.

SALUTE TO SALE-A-BRATION!

This is a card we made in the Rubber Room last night at our Sale-A-Bration Open House and Bingo Bash.  I will also be sharing it with a couple clubs this month.  This card uses a lot of the Sale-A-Bration items, which are FREE with any $50 Stampin' Up! purchase made before March 31st.  For this card I used the Banner Blast Stamp Set, the coordinating Banner Punch, and the See Ya Later Stamp Set (all FREE in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure).  The sentiment was cut out using the Deco Labels Collection Framelits for the Big Shot, and it is matted with a piece of card stock that was punched on both ends with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, which can be found in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog.

ANOTHER VIVID VASES DEMO SWAP!

This is another one of the swaps Caroline shared with us.  I like the really bright colors and the scallop trim border at the top.  Once again, the use of Stampin' Up! punches (Scallop Border Punch, 1" Square Punch and Postage Stamp Punch) has punched up the appeal of this card and made it very easy to put together.

This is one of Nancy's swap cards, and it is so festive!  It does make me want to celebrate!!

Our demonstrator group did a swap with new stamp sets from the Occasions Catalog, and I mailed Nancy's off to her, so I cannot share what the rest of us did until Nancy gets hers.  I don't want to spoil her big surprise.  I will tell you that they were all awesome!  Nancy used the Starburst Sayings Stamp Set along with the Starburst Framelits Dies to make this card.  Her background was embossed with the FREE Decorative Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The colors are so bright and happy.  Thanks so much, Nancy, for sharing your creativity!

I am amazed at the versatility of this punch!  Check out this card made with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.

This is the card "That Michelle" shared with us at our Demo Diva Night this month.  I had no idea you would be able to use the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to make this unique card closure.  Of course, the Watercolor Designer Series Paper adds so much softness and beauty to this creation. The sentiment comes from the Label Love Stamp Set and it is punched out with the coordinating Artisan Label Punch, which is on sale this week.   All these wonderful tools make this a very quick and easy card to make, and I will definitely be sharing it in my upcoming classes.  Thanks for sharing with us, Michelle.

DOUBLE FELT FLOWER WITH THE SPIRAL FLOWER ORIGINALS DIE!
