Today is my mom's birthday, and I have made a great little Tres Chic bag to hold a gift certificate for her. I took a Tres Chic Purse class from my demonstrator friend, Keri Blake, and I love how my bag turned out!

The pattern for this class can be purchased HERE. It is made by Becky Roberts, and her patterns are very reasonably priced and simply lovely! This Tres Chic purse pattern, along with two other little purse patterns, can be purchased for only $3.95! She has some great samples on her blog, so be sure to check them out!

Okay, for the deets on my bag: I used some Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper, along with Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink cardstock. Keri gave us great instructions, so it was very easy to make this little treasure!

For the clasps on my purse I used four Build-a-Brads. I cut the backs off the brads and then adhered them together with a piece of Chocolate Chip Cardstock in between them for the handles on my purse. I took my 1/2" circle punch and punched out some of the DSP and adhered that inside my Build-a-Brad. These are for decoration only, and the purse closes with a velcro circle.

Be sure to check out Becky's Blog for more great bag ideas!

Thanks, Keri, for another great class!
