BRENDA'S BUGGY!

One of my good customers and friends, Brenda, made this adorable little buggy! She brought it to show me at our last club get together, and I am desparately trying to find time to make one for myself. She used a CuttleBug embossing folder to make the dotted paper, lots of punches and some buttons for the wheels and to accent her flower on the top! I love it when my customers share their creations with me. They are truly an inspiration!

FRIENDS 24-7!

Caroline Morgan made this quick and easy card for our demo get together this month. It really showcases the Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper available in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini catalog. She used the flower branch from the Friends 24-7 stamp set, and we did a quick watercolor. This is a great card to "assembly line" and make lots of them quickly and then just add an appropriate sentiment when you need that quick card.

NANCY'S FIFTH AVENUE FLORAL!

This is Nancy's shoe box from our Wednesday evening demo get together this month. I think it is so elegant. It is a tri-fold and there are layered ovals on the front two sections. She added a little bit of glitter to the flower so it would sparkle. Nancy even cut our ovals for us, which made the card really easy for us to stamp and finish off. She spoils us, and I love it!

GREAT FRIEND!

This is the card Keri Blake shared with us at our demonstrator get together this month. I just love its simpilcity. We used a post-it note with a square cut out of the middle, and sponged inside the cut-out square to get the color square around the butterfly. She also used the textured Whisper White Cardstock for the base of the card. We added the dotted background stamp to the Baja Breeze cardstock and then random stamped the leaf from the Great Friends stamp set for the top part of piece layered on the front of the card. THEN she shared her rhinestone brads with us to add a little bling on our butterfly.

I JUST LOVE MY WEDNESDAY DEMO GROUPS!!

MICHELLE'S SEED PACKET CARD!

Here is yet another card from my very talented downline, Michelle Langefeld! She used her Word Window punch to make the little white picket fence. The flowers were made from the Big Shot and she added a different center in each of the flowers. This is the perfect little card for all your gardening friends!

GREAT PUNCH CARD IDEA!

At our demo evening get together this month Linda Garrett shared a great card idea using a monochromatic color scheme with her punches, some Raspberry Tart Paper and a flower from the flower fusions. I really loved the way it turned out! I made her card with Pink Pirouette cardstock and Pretty in Pink cardstock. I used some DSP from the Tea Party pack and then just added a sentiment. At my June hostess club I am going to share this technique with my customers. This is a really easy way to get even more use out of your punches!

WILD ABOUT YOU WAGON FUN!

I got the idea for this card over at UStamp. They made a small wagon with a window sheet inside to hold 4x4 cards. I loved the idea, but I wanted a regular-size card. SO, my demonstrator friend Nancy and I got together and "adjusted" the pattern. This is what we came up with. The wagon has a clear plastic box card holder that we cut down to hold our cards. We used some retired Stampin' Up! DSP that looked like wood for the outside of our wagon and then added some Chocolate Chip grossgrain ribbon for a handle.

When I was little I used my wagon to haul around my stuffed animals, so I decided the wagon would look cute holding cards made with animals. That's how I came up with the idea of card useing the Wild About You stamp set. I used the same pattern for all the cards I put in the wagon, I just switched up sayings for them.

This was lots of fun to make and is a cute little idea to hold cards for kids. Of course, my downline thinks it would make a great flower box.... she has so many cool ideas!

This is a card that Silvia brought to share with me at our last demonstrator get together. Since my son is graduating this year, I made some color changes and put some together for him to use. It was a very quick and easy card to make and "customize" with any school colors.

TOP NOTE UNCLE SAM!

I originally got this idea from Laura Lipe. I had to make a few changes to her creation, as I didn't have all the punches and items she used for her project. I do like how this one turned out, though. He is made totally from punches and the Top Note Big Shot Die!

TOTE-ALLY AWESOME PARISIAN BREEZE TOTE!

I love visiting Becky Roberts blog. She always has such creative ideas, and she also sells her patterns. I recently purchased her pattern for her Tote-Ally Awesome Tote, and here's what I came up with. Yep, I HAD to use my favorite paper too! These are photos of both sides of the tote and the top of it. One side has a long pocket, which I covered a notepad and put into, along with a decorated ink pen. The other side has three little pockets, and two of them have bookmarks in them. The third one, of course, is for a chocolate bar! I'll post more photos of the goodies and what's inside for you.

MORE TOTE-ALLY AWESOME TOTE PHOTOS!

When you open this box up, there are two pockets on the inside to hold cards! There is a picture of all four of the cards to go inside. and the last photo is of the note pad and the ink pen that tuck inside the long pocket on the outside of the box. These little beauties are going to be used for holiday gift giving!

CAROLINE'S HALE SHOEBOX!

Caroline did a one-sheet wonder too. Now I for sure am going to have to do one for my customers. I had totally forgotten how fun they were to make! Caroline's one-sheet wonder was for 6 cards. She did an open-top box and added ribbon for a little holder for all the cards. I got to use lots of butterflies for the cards and box here too! I am going to miss that Baja Breeze cardstock!

MY FIRST BLOG AWARD!

I can't believe it, the Rubber Room received it's first award. It is the Lemonade Award and was awarded to me by Emma Fewkes, a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator whom I had the pleasure of meeting at a demonstrator get together. I often visit her blog for inspiration and fun. You can see Emma's blog HERE Thank you for the awesome award, Emma!

NANCY'S SHOEBOX FOR HALE!

These are the cards I made with Nancy's shoebox swap! She did a one-sheet wonder that made 9 cards. I haven't done a one-sheet wonder in a long time, so this was a treat. I adore the diamond cut-out in the top of the box. I was having a "thing" with my butterfly Big Shot die, so I had to add that to the top of my box too!

KERI'S HALE SHOE BOX PROJECT!

These are some of our finished wood pieces that Keri shared with us as her shoe box swap over the weekend. Nancy put her own personal spin on her project by making it a note holder. She has little pegs at the bottom to hold a pencil, and she has a little post-it note pad on it too! Keri loves green, so she cut out the letters for her name in Kiwi Kiss and added them to the front of her project. Unfortunately, I did not have a photo of Caroline with her finished project to share with you. It was very cute, though! I made mine into a little "welcome" wall hanger. I used the Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper and the butterfly Big Shot die, along with some ribbon! It is pretty bright and cheery!

OH MY~~I'M STILL IN SHOCK!

I rarely post personal messages on my blog, but I simply can't resist this one! I do promise to post more projects photos today, though, just so you won't feel cheated.

My baby came home yesterday with his cap and gown. I made him put it on right away so I could get a picture. I am sure I will be able to get more photos of him in it, but I just couldn't wait!

It is so hard to believe that only a little over 17 1/2 years ago he came into this world at his whopping 3 lbs. 2 oz. and began his journey. It has been rough ride with this one, as he is very head strong and definitely hears a different beat than I do. Although he has managed to constantly keep me on my toes, he has truly put many, many smiles on my face and helped to make my heart a very, very happy one. Rarely do I share a "Tyler story" that doesn't bring tears to my eyes because I'm laughing so hard.

Okay, there's my "personal" share; thanks for indulging me and shareing my happy mom moment!

OUR WEEKEND IN HALE!

I survived Hale!! What a truly wonderful trip we had, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Here's a picture of our finished products. Throughout the week I will post individual pictures of our wonderful crew of demonstrators and close ups with the projects. I have lots of stuff to catch up on at home in the meantime, as well as workshops to prepare.... so I'm off to get to work!

URBAN GARDEN DSP!

This is another card that Silvia made for our demonstrator group. It is very simple and easy to make. One you need when you're in that time-crunch walking out the door and need a card NOW! I love the quick and easy that looks like so much more!!

TOP NOTE THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!

Here's another one of Michelle's wonderful creations. This is a card she made for Mother's Day. She used the Top Note Die with the Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Set. Her sentiment is from the All Holidays Stamp Set. Michelle also stamped and decorated the inside of her card, so I had to share that with you too. It really adds a nice finishing touch!
