FESTIVE FLURRY CARD!

I love the fresh-clean look of this card!

This is a card Jen shared with us at the Creative Convention, and Beth and Keri and I had to remake it because we liked it so much.  This card made me fall in love with the new Smoky Slate color.  We used lots of goodies to create this beauty.  The Festive Flurries stamp set and coordinating Framelits can be found in the Holiday Mini Catalog, and they can be ordered as "bundle" to save money.  The background was made using the striped stencil from the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit, also available in the Holiday Mini Catalog.  We used Silver Shimmer Paper, and Tea Lace Paper Doillies to layer behind the snowflakes and then gave it a little bling with some Rhinestone Jewels.  For the edge of the snowflake, we made a little bow with the White Linnen Thread

LOVELY AS A TREE WITH MORE MERRY MESSAGES!

This is a gift card pattern demonstrated by Jenny Peterson. 

Jenny is a very talented Stampin' Up! demonstrator, and she was one of the presenters at the Creative Convention I recently attended.  She demonstrated a gift card holder like this with different stamp sets.  Jenny used the Special Season Stamp Set from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  For this gift card holder, I used Lovely As A Tree (one of my favorite stamp sets) and the sentiment from More Merry Messages.  I also used the Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper, Silver 1/8" Ribbon and Frosted Finishes Embellishments from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  This gift card holder is made using one of our Medium Whisper White Envelopes.  This is a project that will be appearing in my upcoming clubs and classes!

FESTIVE FLURRY ORNAMENT CLASS!

At the Creative Convention Kim Vogel shared a beautiful ornament in a box gift idea with us.  Of course, I had to make a few changes to accomodate the products I had.  This is what Keri and Beth and I put together this past week.  This is the snowflake ornament:

This is the box to put the ornament in.  We made our bow with oval punches.

 This is the ornament all tucked inside it's decorative box.

I will be giving several of these as holiday gifts to some family and friends.  I think they are so beautiful, and an ornament is always a wonderful gift to receive. 

I will also offer this as a Private Class.  The Private Class will be held twice on September 24th, 2013; once in the morning, from 10 a.m. until noon and in the evening September 24th, 2013 from 7 - 9 p.m. At class you will make two ornaments and decorate two boxes (one for each ornament). Your class fee will include one bolt of the Silver 1/8" Ribbon, a package of Frosted Finishes Embellishments (these are absolutely gorgeous); One Sheet of Dimensionals; One Package of Decorative Window Gift Boxes and 1/2 Pack of Winter Frost Designer Series Paper (all of these items can be found in the Holiday Mini Catalog).  You will need to bring your favorite adhesive along with you.  The cost to attend the Private Class is $30; and I will refund $5 of your class fee if you place a minimum $25 order the night of the Private Class.  You must RSVP prior to September 10th and full payment is do when you RSVP.

FESTIVE FLURRY FUN!

Last weekend at the Creative Convention fellow demonstrator, Kim Vogel, had a wonderful display full of beautiful things made with the Festive Flurry Bundle (stamp set and coordinating framelits).  I loved this frame she had on display.  Yesterday Nancy (another demonstrator friend) and I made a frame inspired by the one Kim had displayed.  Check it out!

I did not have some of the goodies Kim used, so Nancy and I substituted with Lovely As A Tree (an oldy that's certainly not moldy), the sentiment comes from Greetings of the Season.  Kim used the Special Season Stamp Set from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  Other items from the Holiday Mini Catalog are the Festive Flurry Stamp Set and Framelits, the Silver 1/8" Ribbon and the Frosted Finishes Embellishments.  This is another one of those things I saw at the Creative Convention that I think will make a great gift this holiday season.

CHRISTMAS COLLECTABLES FRAME!

It SERIOUSLY is going to take me a very, very, very long time to clear my head and get "ungeeked" (for sure a real word) from last weekend.  I absolutely loved Ronda Wade's Creative Convention, and, yes, I would marry it if I could!  In addition to all of the great make and takes and swaps and business building tips and ideas, Ronda offered extra classes.  Did I mention Ronda is awesome?  I did not sign up for any extra classes, since I knew I would already be on overload.  BUT when I saw this frame was going to be an extra class...  well, I had to wrangle my way in.  I am so lucky Ronda could make room for myself and my two friends.  Did I mention Ronda is awesome?  This is the frame I made~~I am so impressed with me!!

AND to make it even better, Ronda offered this class as a framed piece of art; OR a set of 3x3 cards; OR note cards.  A little something for everyone's needs.  Did I mention Ronda is awesome?

We used lots of fun items from the Holiday Mini Catalog including the Christmas Collectibles Bundle (the Christmas Collectibles stamp set and the coordinating Christmas Ornament Punch), the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper, Silver 1/8" Ribbon and Frosted Finishes Embellishments (these are so cool!)   Thanks so much, Ronda~~your are AWESOME!

STAMP STORAGE CASES!

This past weekend at Ronda's Creative Convention we decorated and embellished one of Stampin' Up's! Wood-Mount Stamp Storage Cases, and I love it!

For this Storage Case we used More Merry Messages, the Festive Flurry Bundle (stamp set with coordinating framelits), a Pearl Jewel, some Linnen Thread, the Season of Style Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog and the Ovals Collection Framelits for the Big Shot.

This makes a wonderful "package" to put handmade cards in.  I will be doing a version of this (along with handmade cards to tuck inside) at an upcoming 3D Thursday in the Rubber Room.  Watch my calendar and newsletter for dates!

This is one of the cute little Halloween treats we made at the Creative Convention this past weekend.  It was sooooo much fun, and we did tons of make-and-take products, which I will be sharing over the next couple weeks, along with some awesome swaps.  It is going to take me a while to unwind, because there were just tons and tons of great ideas and samples!  I know you will love all of them as much as I do.  Now I need to purchase even more Stampin' Up! products to play with!!  One can never have too many new toys, though.
