CHALK TALK SNEAK PEEK!

I had a great time today!  I got to share the wonderful company and creativity of some other SU! Demonstrators and Friends.  We had time to play with some of the sneak peek items from the new catalog which you can start ordering from tomorrow (Friday, May 31, 2013).  This is a card Terri made for us using the new Chalk Talk stamp set.

For her card Terri also used the Decorative Label Punch, the Wide Oval Punch, the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and then she topped it off with some Basic Gray 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.  Beginning tomorrow you can order everything you need to make this card on my website!

I like this card so much, I am going to be sharing it with some of my clubs in June!

MORE SWALLOWTAIL!

I am slowly caving and beginning to NEED this stamp!  I borrowed it from a demonstrator friend, and have had a tremendous amount of fun playing with it. Here is one of the cards I made.

For this card I used VersaMark to ink my stamp and then inked over the VersaMark with Wisteria Classic Ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. This card opens from the middle (where the scallop trim is).

This is a card Beth shared with us at our demonstrator get together.  Another Swallowtail~~will I have to have this one?

For this card we used our markers to color the stamp, and I love the watercolor look it gave to the butterfly.

Time for ordering from the Stampin' Up! Spring Mini Catalog is running out.  Thursday, May 23, 2013 is my
Spring Mini Stamp-A-Stack, and this is one of the cards we will be making.

This is always a very bitter-sweet time of year for me.  I hate saying goodbye to so many stamp sets and colors... but I get excited for all the new things.  I guess that old saying is true "I want my rubber and my ink".  This is one of my favorite color combinations (Razzleberry, Midnight Muse and More Mustard).  I am saying goodbye to More Mustard, and it is very difficult for me!  I am going to have to find another favorite color combination.  The Oh, Whale stamp set and Oh, Wave wheel are gone on May 31st, with the Spring Mini Catalog, as well as the Happy Whale Clearlits Die.

MOSAIC SNEAK PEEK!

This is a card Beth shared with us at our demo get together.  She also shared lots of new Sneak Peek items!

Can you tell that demonsrators love the perk of being able to get Sneak Peek items early?  I love being able to play with some of the newest Stampin' Up! products before they are available for everyone to use!
For this card Beth used the new In Colors: Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe and Baked Brown Sugar.  She also used the new Mosaic Madness Stamp Set and the matching Mosaic Punch.  I love the In Colors!!

ARTISAN LABEL PUNCH SNEAK PEEK!

This is a card Nancy shared with us at our demonstrator get together.  She uses a few Sneak Peek items from the new catalog for this awesome creation!

Nancy used the Label Love stamp set with the matching Artisan Label Punch, both in the new Stampin' Up! 2013-2014 Annual Catalog.  I think this is one of Stampin' Up's! best catalogs with lots of matching stamps and accessories; and the colors and techniques....  you definitely need to check this catalog out!!

SODA POP TOPS!

This is the shoebox swap "That Michelle" shared with us at our last demo fun night.

The Soda Pop Tops are easily "smashed" with the Big Shot.  Michelle brought these little chains to share with us, and I am going to add mine to my keyring.  How fun!!  The Soda Pop Tops are available in the Spring Mini Catalog now.

Friday was the fabulous Dress Up Framelits Dies Party in the Rubber Room.  We made 8 dresses with the Dress Up Framelits; and they all had a little different "take" on the framelits.  Here is a picture of four of the dresses we made.

POST-IT NOTE HOLDER!

A few more pictures of our Lansing projects for you.  This is a holder for a 3x3 post-it pad or for 3x3 cards.  I love the way it sort of stands with the fold in it!  Keri is a creative genious, and I am so glad she shared this pattern and holder with me.  We used the scallop envelope die and designer series paper!

ROLL-TOP CARD HOLDER!

This is a little project Keri and I worked on most of day on Saturday when we were in Lansing at the Creative Escape.  You can put 20 envelopes in the drawer and about a bazillion cards inside the roll-top area.  And, yes, the top actually lifts open and can slide inside the box top (just like the top of a roll-top desk).  I really think this is very cool, but I won't be making another one any time soon!
