MORE EMBOSSING FOLDER EXCITEMENT!

Well, having "mastered" the technique below (okay, I haven't exactly mastered it, but it did work ;o), I then tackled the "border" issue. That's right, stampers are actually cutting off their embossing folders to emboss just borders. I don't know too much about the "positive" and "negative" of images, but I figured it would work for embossing folders; right? Of course it will.

Here is how it works. I cut a strip of cardboard/chipboard and attached it to the outside of my embossing folder. Which means: I put cardstock inside my embossing folder and then used some Dotto to attach a strip of cardboard/chipboard on top of the embossing folder at the edge. Here's how it looks

Can you guess what happened next? I put that 'stack' on top of my Big Shot base piece (the big white one with the sandwich recipes on it); added a cutting pad on top and ran the whole thing through the Big Shot. Here is what it looks like now:

You can find this embossing folder on page 195 of the current Idea Book and Catalog. It is called Stampin' Up! Finial Press, and it is only $7.95! I know you NEED it now, simply click HERE and order item # 115963 right now!
