STAMPIN' UP! OWL PUNCH TURNS GHOSTLY!

When I saw Ellen Kemper's punch tutorial on making a ghost with the new Stampin' Up! Owl Punch, I couldn't resist making this card.

For my card I used the sentiment from the Stampin' Up! stamp set called House of Haunts, the new Stampin' Up! Bat Punch and Owl Punch, along with some Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock. I also used the Stampin' Up! Big Shot Dotted Embossing Folder on my Pumpkin Pie card stock and my Stampin' Up! White Gel Pen for my ghost's eyes!

A GIFT FOR MY SISTER!

When I saw this Island Oasis Designer Series Paper in the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog, I knew it was the perfect paper for me to use to make a vinyl bag for my sister to use on her boat. It has taken me a long while to get to it, but I am finally done with it, and I can't wait to give it to her this weekend while I'm visiting her. I know she's going to love it!

I have made several of these bags with a pattern I got from Dawn Rapsas's UStamp class, and I use mine all the time.

This is the first time I've added a little tag to the bag. Now, I have to go back and make some tags for the other bags I made, because I think the tag is just too cute.

MY STAMPIN' UP! PUNCH RING VIDEO!

I love Stampin' Up! punches, and I use them for almost every card/project I make. I have this awesome tool that I call my Stampin' Up! Punch Ring, and I use this tool all the time. In today's video I will share with you how I made my Stampin' Up!Punch Ring and how I use my Stampin' Up! Punch Ring.

I will be having a Punch Ring Class on August 18th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where you can come to the Rubber Room and use all of my punches to create your own Stampin' Up! Punch Ring. The cost of the class is $8, and I will supply the pre-cut cardstock (complete with punch labels) as well as your key ring, coffee, water and light snacks. All you have to do is come and punch your images into the cardstock, decorate your Punch Ring cover and put your Stampin' Up! Punch Ring together!

Enjoy this week's video!

ONE MORE VACATION!

I know, I know. It hardly seems like I've been home at all, but I am heading off again. I will be leaving tomorrow (Wednesday) and heading up north and then off to Ludington, MI to go salmon fishing with my brothers and sisters. I am really looking forward to the fishing trip and spending more time with my family!

I won't forget al my faithful blog readers, so keep visiting for posts.

Remember, tomorrow is another video day. Be sure to stop by and see what I've got in store for you!

EVEN MORE STAMPIN' UP! WORD PLAY!

Another quick and cute card from Ronda's SU! Demo. event. For this card we used the new color, Early Espresso. I was really a big Chocolate Chip fan (for obvious reasons~~I mean, with the word "chocolate" in it, how could it be anything but a favorite). Now, I am craving Espresso!

Back to this card, we used the Baby Tees Jumbo Wheel to make our image, and I colored my tees in with So Saffron, Certainly Celery and Pretty in Pink Stampin' Up! Markers. The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! Word Play stamp set, and I colored some of the letters in the sentiment also. Last, but certainly not least, is the Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon, to add the finishing touch!

MORE STAMPIN' UP! WORD PLAY!

This is yet another card made at Ronda Wade's Demonstrator get together. For this card we used two new Stampin' Up! colors: Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz. For accessories we used the Big Shot Top Note Die and the Stampin' Up! Large Star Punch. I love the new Stampin' Up! ribbons, and here we used the Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Stitched-Poly.

BUT my so-far-all-time favorite new accessory has to be the Jewels Stampin' Up! is now carrying. They come in Basic Rhinestone and Basic Pearls. They are half-backed and have sticky already on the back of them. That means there's no problem trying to get them glued on or trying to get a glue dot in exactly the right spot. The best part, though, is that they are downright cheap! You get 150 pieces (50 each of three different dizes) for only $4.95. The sizes are 5mm, 4mm and 3mm. As you can see, these little jewels really add a lot of bling to a card! You can find these jewels on page 188 of the 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog. Remember, you can order them 24/7 on my website HERE!
