A WONDERFUL CAUSE

Today I celebrate being a 9 year bypass survivor. Not a day goes by that I don't appreciate how blessed I am to be a survivor. For those of you who do not know, I suffer from hereditary heart disease, which runs in our family. My father and grandfather both died in their 50s as a result of having a major heart attack. My younger sister has suffered three minor heart attacks. My other siblings contend with heart-related medical issues each day, and we all stay Proffer Strong.

As you can imagine the AHA (American Heart Association) is an organization that is dear to my "heart". Every year I donate to and support this organization. One year we gathered together as a family with our children, brothers, sisters, and friends to join the AHA walk and help raise money and awareness about heart disease.
That year my brother, Tommy Proffer, and I both received the Lifestyle Change Award from the Go Red For Women - American Heart Association. This was the first time two people were honored to receive this award.

I am super-excited this year because Stampin' Up! is featuring a Make A Difference stamp set that helps support heart health. In the current mini catalog there is a stamp set called Strong of Heart (I LOVE that name).

When each stamp set is sold, SU! donates $3 to support heart health. This week I will be featuring this stamp set on More Fun Mondays (Monday at 7:00 p.m. EST on FB Live) and during Create With Chris Live (Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. EST on FB Live). You can find these Lives on my business page at Rubber Room Ramblings, Stampin' Up! with Chris Kolly.

If you would like to help support heart health, please think about purchasing this stamp set. It's only $20, and when you purchase the stamp set, as a thank you for your support, I will send you a beautiful card made with the stamp set.

You can order 24/7 on my website at www.rubberroom.stampinup.net
