BLOG HOP TIME!

I love starting the month off with a new Glitter & Glam Girls Blog Hop and lots of inspiration. This month we have a Fall thing, and I absolutely could not resist sharing something from the new Holiday Catalog.  I love and need everything in this catalog, and simply couldn't wait to play.  I am feeling like Pretty Peacock is going to be a favorite color of mine this Holiday Season.  It is perfect for Fall and is going to be gorgeous with Cherry Cobbler for Christmas.  I am stocking up!

Okay, so here's my card.

I will be making this card tonight on my Face Book Create with Chris Live at 7:00 p.m. on my FB page at:  Rubber Room Ramblings, Stampin' Up! with Chris Kolly    I hope you can join me and see how easy this is to make.

Here's how it goes together:

For the sentiment (Cut with the Beautiful Boughs Dies)
1) Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Beautiful Boughs Dies
2) Stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink on the Whisper White piece of cardstock and then stamp the wheat in crumb cake over the top of the sentiment.
3) Color a Basic Jewel Rhinestone with the Pretty Peacock Blender Pen to get the sparkly gem on the end (you can use a Noble Peacock Rhinestone, if you have one)

For the Early Espresso layer (5 1/4" X 4")
1) Stamp the the leaf and wheat images randomly in Early Espresso ink on the cardstock.
2) Stamp off (or use a second generation image) on the small dot stamp randomly over the cardstock.

For the Leaves
1) Spritz some Pretty Peacock cardstock with water and then use the Gathered Leaves Dies to cut out three leaves (spritzing the cardstock before cutting it will add a subtle detail to your leaves)
2) Stamp the big leaf image with Early Espresso ink on some of the gorgeous Come to Gather Designer Series Paper and cut it out with the Gathered Leaves Dies.

Finishing the Card
1) Color some Whisper White Twine with your  Pretty Peacock Blends to make that pretty bow.
2) Cut a piece of Come to Gather Designer Series Paper 1 1/4" x 5 1/4"
3) Use the Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Trim and cut the trim off and attach the little Pretty Peacock scallop edge to the bottom of your  piece of Designer Series Paper.
4) Separate the linen part of the ribbon and use those strands to add the whispy little swirls under the leaves.

Here is what you need to make this gorgeous card.

Chris I love the colors you used to create this adorable card. I love how you used the stamped images to create the background. Gorgeous card.
