Okay, you have to admit that "Social Media" has sort of ruined birthdays.  That is how I see it anyway.  When my birthday rolls around each year, I love the entire month because I get cards early, and cards late and cards that arrive right on my birthday.  My grandma would always, always, always send me a card with a $5 bill in it, and that made my whole day.  The $5 was nice, of course, but the fact that she remembered me and sent me a card gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

With the advent of social media, I get a bazillion birthday wishes from all my social media friends.  I appreciate all of them, but they don't really touch me like cards in the mail always did.

I must admit (as much as it pains me), I am like the manicurist with the crappy manicure.  I rarely send birthday cards; and I am so embarrassed to admit that, but it is the sad truth.

Stampin' Up! is on a mission to bring birthdays back.  Use this link to see the whole story!

Now that you know what it's all about, be sure to check back and see how the Rubber Room is going to help bring birthdays back!
