FINIAL PRESS EMBOSSING FOLDER!

For this quick and easy card I used the Stampin' Up! Finial Press Embossing Folder (item #115963) with my Big Shot to make the background paper. The embossing folders add so much texture to any project, they are a must have for me. The sentiment for this card is stamped on a piece of cardstock that I cut with my Big Shot Bigz XL Matchbox Die (item #114890). I then just accessorized my card with a little flower. This truly was a quick and easy card!

TRENDY TREES GOES CARROTS!

This is a 6x6 scrapbook page we made at my Friday Hostess Club last month. They make one scrapbook page each month so that at the end of the year, they will have a whole scrapbook of holidays already made! For April we did this Easter page. I turned my Trendy Trees stamp set (item #113258) into little carrots. Then I just used my punches to make a little bunny face!

SWEET SCOOPS WITH PRESTO PATTERNS PAPER!

Ice cream is such a treat for me; there is just something about it that puts a big smile on my face each and every time I see it! The Sweet Scoops stamp set now available in the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog can be ordered in either wood mount or clear mount (see page 10 of the Summer Mini Catalog for photos and stamp set details), covers all your ice cream basis. Whether you like your ice cream in a sugar cone, a waffle cone, or a dish, this stamp set has you covered. AND it comes with a great sentiment and even "sprinkles" and a cherry! I can already tell it's going to be a favorite summer stamp set of mine.

For this card I paired the ice cream cones with some of the Presto Patterns Specialty Paper (available on page 15 of the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog). I sponged a little Close to Cocoa Classic Ink directly onto my Presto Patterns Paper and then lightly spritzed it with some Log Cabin Smooch Spritz (item # 119921 in the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog). I think the paper looks a lot like the ice cream cone~~dare I say "good enough to eat"????

RETIRING COLORS ARE DISAPPEARING FAST!

Stampin' Up! has just notified its demonstrators that they are unable to guarantee that all cardstock orders placed in May for retiring colors will be filled.

What does that mean to you? It means that if you NEED cardstock in retiring colors, you need to order it as soon as possible! There are already several cardstock colors that are on backorder and may not be filled OR they could be filled with textured cardstock in the retiring color you ordered.

There has been a tremendous response to the announcement that several Stampin' Up! colors would be retiring. Although, Stampin' Up! felt it would be able to keep filling orders for cardstock in retiring colors through the month of May and then put them on a "while supplies" status in June, they are not able to do so.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this causes to anyone, but I will do my best to help you get your orders in quickly and will keep my fingers crossed your cardstock orders will be filled. I strongly suggest that if you are ordering cardstock in retiring colors that you place your order online HERE. And remember you can order 24/7 online!

ISLAND OASIS, TROPICAL PARTY AND PRESTO PATTERNS!

I really like the Island Oasis Designer Series Paper (item #117173) and the Tropical Party stamp set (item #120081) which are both currently available to order from the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog. SO, I thought I would pair them with the Presto Patterns Specialty Paper (item #117175), also available in the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog.

For this card I stamped directly onto my Presto Patterns Paper. Then I cut out some of the stamped flower images and put a few brads on them, added a little DSP and ribbon to accessorize my card and VOILA this cheery, colorful, happy card!

I SMOOCHED MY PRESTO PATTERNS PAPER!

Yep, you read that right, I "smooched" my Presto Patterns Paper for this card; and I liked it!

I simply spritzed some Silver Foil Smooch Spritz (available in the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog on page 15, Item #118771) lightly onto my Presto Patterns Paper. While it was still wet, I took a cotton ball and smeared the smooch into the paper. I then stamped the solid heart image onto the Presto Patterns Paper and cut out all the hearts. Add a little ribbon,a sentiment and you're all set!

PRESTO PATTERNS GETS BRAYERED!

This is by far the easiest and fastest way I have found to add color to your Presto Patterns Paper. Simply ink up your brayer with your favorite Stampin' Up! Classic Ink, and brayer our ink directly onto your Presto Patterns Paper. VOILA! You have an exciting new look to your Presto Patterns Paper in only minutes.

For this card I simply added a sentiment and some ribbon. I didn't want to add too much, because the Presto Patterns Paper is truly a WOW that I couldn't cover too much of!

This card can be made from start to finish in less than 5 minutes, and it is gorgeous!

PRESTO PATTERNS PAPER PAIRS WITH PASTELS

I love my pastels, so they seemed like a perfect match with my new love, Presto Patterns Specialty Paper. For this card, I simply squished my VersaMark Ink Pad all over the Presto Patterns Paper and then applied my pastels with a cotton ball. This is a very quick and easy way to add color to your Presto Patterns Paper, and it looks so soft and elegant! Everyone will guess it took you hours to make.
