DIRECTIONS FOR DECO LABEL FRAMELIT CARD!

A few days ago I posted this card, which Nancy shared at our Demo Diva Night this month.

Lots and lots of you have requested instructions for this beautiful card.  THIS is where Nancy found the instructions/tutorial for her card.  It was made by Belinda Neel, and she even provides a great video for you. For those of you who just need the dimensions, here is a photo of her "template" for the card.

BRIGHT BLOSSOMS 3X3 CARD HOLDER!

I had lots of requests for the box pattern for the 3x3 cards I posted yesterday.  I am almost embarrassed to share it, because it is super-duper easy!   Lately I seem to have become the queen of quick and easy, and this is just another example of that.  So, here it is!

This is what the box looks like when you slip the belly band off.

To open the box, I lift the top flap up, and flip the bottom flap down. 

I started with a piece of card stock that is 3 1/4" x 10 1/4".  Score the 10 1/4" side at 3 1/2", 4", 7 1/2" and 8".

For the belly band, use a 1" x 9" piece of card stock.  Score it on the 9" side at 2", 2 5/8", 5 7/8" and 6 1/2".  Then just decorate the belly band as desired.

WELLNESS WISHES TISSUE HOLDER PATTERN!

So many of you asked for the pattern for the Wellness Wishes tissue holder that I shared with my demonstrator group last night, that I decided to just post it here, rather than emailing it to everyone.

I am usually not too good with directions and/or pattens, but I am happy to share the pattern I came up with for the Wellness Wishes tissue holder. You can see more photos of this project in my post from yesterday (June 30th). I have attached a photo of the pattern I used and then what the pattern looks like when it is cut out. I used my large oval punch to put the hole in the middle of the top so you could pull the tissues out.

I suggest you punch and decorate your box completely before putting it together. It is much easier to work with when it is one flat piece, as opposed to a box that's open on one end.

I have labeled on the photos where I put my tape. I did use sticky strip, and I placed it in three spots only! 1) across the scored area on the top of the box, which is taped to the back of the box; 2) one end of the box; and 3) the tab that gets taped to the end of the box.

I only taped one end of the box shut so that you can open the other end of the box and insert your tissues. I used a small pack (purse pack I think they call them) of tissues.

I suggest you tape the end of your box shut first, insert your tissues and then tape the top of your box to the back of your box. With the tissues already inside your box it is a little easier to get the top taped on straight.

The full pattern photo (before it is cut) indicates score lines with dashes and cut lines are solid. Here are your measurements:

Cut your cardstock to 10" x 7"
Score the 10" side at 1/4", 2 1/2", 3 1/2", 5 3/4"
Score the 7" side at 1/2", 1 1/2", 5 1/2" and 6 1/2"

Then simply cut your pattern on the solid lines as indicated in the photograph.

Manhattan Flower Wedding Dress

I found this wedding dress cut from vellum cardstock that had been embossed with the Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder on somebody's blog, but I have no idea who shared this idea with me. If it was you, please let me know so I can give you the credit you deserve for your creativity! I changed up the ribbon and added a flower from the Pretties Kit and a Rhinestone Brad. I also tried it with a flat-backed pearl from the Pretties Kit, and I really liked that too!

The second photo is the pattern for cutting the dress from the embossed cardstock.

I think this makes a beautiful card for a bride!

MEASUREMENTS FOR HERSHEY KISS HOLDER!

This is the candy kiss holder that I made in a class in December; and I have had a few requests for the measurements, so I am posting them below. This would make a great Valentine treat holder!

Cut your cardstock 5" x 6 1/2"
Score the 6 1/2" side at 1" and 5 1/2"
Score the 5" side at 1", 2", 3", and 4"

Cute into the 1" and 5 1/2" score lines on the 6 1/2" side on the score lines that are 1", 2", 3" and 4"

Then fold your box on all the score lines. Where you have cut, will become the ends of your box. I cut the top flap on a diagnol (just to give it a little different look). I added DSP that I cut at 3/4" x 4 1/2". You should cut 5 of these (one for each side of the box).

Decorate and add accessories as you like!
