COTTAGE GREETINGS!

This is the other card Nancy shared with us at Demo Night last week.  For this card she used the Cottage Greetings stamp set and the new Tip Top Taupe card stock.  We all agreed this color was growing on us!  I love the soft, elegant look of this card!

THE OPEN SEA!

This is one of my favorite stamp sets to make masculine cards with.  It is also a great stamp set to make frames or coaster with as gifts for those who live in the warmer climates and/or enjoy the water and boating.  This card was made by my fellow Demo Diva, Caroline.  She used the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to make the frame with.  Very clever lady!  Thanks, Caroline, for sharing your creative talents with me/us.

This was the "bonus card" last week for Diva Night.  Creative Demo, Nancy, had an extra card for us.  We made her beautiful shoe box share AND anyone who was present got to make this awesome card!  She used some of the Designer Series Paper from the Cherry on Top stack to make her cup/bowl.  I love how cheery this card is.  Thanks so much for sharing, Nancy!

"THAT MICHELLE" DOES IT AGAIN!

"That Michelle" hits it out of the bargain again!  Seriously, check this gorgeous card out!!

This is truly a breathtaking card, and it was super, super easy to make.  You know what "That Michelle" did?   You will never guess, so I have to spill the beans.  She took a piece of the Stampin' Up! Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper, cut it to 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" inches, mounted it on a piece of Basic Black card stock cut at 4" x 5 1/4" and then mounted it on a card base (4 1/4" x 11" and scored on the 11" side at 5 1/2").  Then (the big reveal), "That Michelle" used a dauber to sponge ink onto the roses.  This is so stinking beautiful in real life!  Thanks so much "That Michelle" for letting me share your creative genius!

IT'S ALMOST HERE!

There are few things in life I look forward to as much as a Ronda Wade Stampin' Up! event, and Creative Convention is just around the corner.  This is a great time to jump start my Fall and Winter classes with a little bit of extra creativity.  I am participating in a 40 card shoe box swap on Thursday evening and I have made an additional 30 cards to swap.  That is a lot of samples to share with everyone!  On Friday I got together with the ladies I am going to attend the Creative Convention with and we worked on our swaps, so mine are all finished and now all I have to do is wait and get more and more exciting with each passing hour!!

LAST AN OPEN HEART TRIBUTE!

This card was made by Amy Jasper at inkingonthefly.com.  This little birdie takes on a totally different look with the yellow coloring.  I think the addition of the Gorgeous Grunge stamp, some Washi Tape and sequins makes this a totally bright and happy card!

Today's An Open Heart selection is from Sara Hoogendoorn over at www.simplysarastampin.blogspot.com  I love the way she colored the bird with the white stripe and then added the water coloring at the bottom.  It really softens the image and makes it look warm and inviting!

I figured after a few days back home I would be all settled in and back on track.  For some reason, that has not been the case.  Perhaps the heat has gotten to me.  I am slowly getting back on track, though.  This week is extremely busy with doctor's appointments and my boss coming back from vacation....  but I hate to have my faithful blog followers suffer, so I am again picking a stamp set from the catalog to highlight this week, and I will share lots of cards made by other demonstrators that helped me to fall in love with the stamp set.

Here is another card I made with my Holiday Catalog goodies!  For this card I used the new Curvy Corner Trio Punch and the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies along with the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set.  This Holiday Catalog is the best.  I had to place a second order already.  Now if I could only find some way to fit more card making time in!!
