LOVE & HAPPINESS RUB-ONS!

I made this card with the Love & Happiness Rub-Ons. I rubbed them onto my card stock and then used my dauber with Bayou Blue ink to add color to them.

EMBRACE LIFE!

I like the way this card folded. It sort of makes an envelope out of itself. The Ginger Blossom Designer Series Paper is one of my favorites. The words on this card are in the Full of Life stamp set in the Occasions mini collection 2008. We'll be making this card in my hostess club in April.

CHALKBOARD TECHNIQUE!

I used the chalkboard technique to make this Sympathy card with the Close as a Memory stamp set. For the chalkboard technique, you stamp your image in white or vanilla craft ink; and while the ink is still wet, you apply Stampin' Pastels to the wet ink. I think this technique gives the stamped image a very soft look.

CAROUSEL NOTES!

This is a Mother's Day Card and a little purse, both made with the Carousel Notes available in the Occasions Mini Collection 2008. The holes in the Mother's Day card were made using the Classy Brass Template~~it fits the carousel notes perfectly!

MORE DECORATIVE TILES!

These are the three tiles I have designed for my ongoing decorative tile class. I offer this class every other month, and my customers anxiously await new tiles to create and display! Class is April 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. You can pick any two of the three designs to make. Class fee is $10, and you must RSVP no later than April 10, 2008.

FOR FATHER!

If you love to watercolor, this is definitely a stamp set you NEED! I borrowed it from a friend (thanks, Lisa ;o), and I had such a wonderful time. Even though it takes a long time to watercolor the images, it was very relaxing. I have a hard time with masculine cards (mostly because 90% of the stamp sets I own are flowers), so this stamp set worked out perfectly. I tried to use more masculine colors and accessories too.

GIFT FOR MY DEAR FRIEND!

I have been working on this gift for my dear friend and walking partner, and at long last I have finished it! I'm so proud, I had to show it off. This is a three-piece gift set, and I already had the giant clothes pin and little box with drawers made, along with a lunch box tin to hold cards. Unfortunately, I had too many cards to fit in the tin, so I decorated a little box to hold all her cards. The other picture is of the inside of the box and one of the card dividers. I made the card dividers to separate different types of cards (i.e., Baby, Christmas, Get Well, etc...). I showed it off to my hubby, and he asked if I could make his mom a card box for her birthday (we're celebrating on Sunday with her ;o). I "calmly" explained that if I did not want to sleep, eat or go potty between now and then it was a definite possibility, but I couldn't promise anything. I hope she'll enjoy using all of her handmade cards and think of me every time she reaches for one!

RUB-ON EGGS FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

I am still hooked on our new Rub-Ons! I got these egg candles from Pottery Barn and then just put my Rub-Ons on them. The FREE SAB Rub-Ons come in colors, and they are lots of fun!
